GLAIS GREYHOUND STADIUM

The greyhound track in the tiny Welsh village of Glais was situated in the centre of the village at 3° 52' W 51° 41' N and first opened for racing in 1928. The town is close to the city of Swansea and the facilities at the greyhound track gradually improved during its first few years of existence. It operated as an independent flapping track throughout its history.

The track closed for the final time in 1939 and today the ground on which the former track once stood is now part of a golf course.
